Blastocyst Transfer Program

Blastocyst Transfer: In the IVF treatment, the sperm and egg are combined and left to fertilize in a laboratory. Only after an embryo is formed, it is placed inside the uterus. This process allows us to identify the best and healthy embryo to be transferred. It is basically a process of selecting the best embryo.
When younger women go for IVF, blastocyst transfer is considered to increase the success rate of IVF. We also consider Blastocyst a good option in case of multiple IVF failure cases.
Difference between ET & Blastocyst Transfer: In This technique, the embryo is cultured in the laboratory incubator for 5 to 6 days, instead of implanting in 2 or 3 days. So Blastocyst embryos are day 5 Embryos, fully fertilized and that transfer is called blastocyst transfer.
The risks involved in it are only that not all embryos grow into the blastocysts in the laboratory. So this is decided on day 3 whether to go for blastocyst or not, if we have a surplus of embryos then we can take a chance but if the number of embryos is less on day2/ day3, It is better to transfer on that particular days only. We are very much inclined to do blastocyst transfer If we have thea sufficient number of embryos on day 3. our team of doctors & embryologist together take the decision for that and do the best transfer for your case.
Blastocyst transfer is considered to increase the success rate of IVF. It is also consider due to good option in case of multiple IVF failure cases.
