FEMALE FACTORS 1. If both your fallopian tubes are blocked or badly damaged. 2. IUI –INTRAUTERINE INSEMINATION OR ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION (AI)

IUI Treatment, or intrauterine insemination, is a relatively simple first line Infertility treatment. It involves a laboratory procedure to separate fast moving sperms from sluggish or nonmoving sperms. Then these washed sperms with the help of small tube are placed directly into the uterus close to the time of ovulation when the egg is released from the ovary. The rationale is expose more oocytes to more sperms near the site of fertilization and make chances of pregnancy better. This is a minor, painless procedure of 5-7 minutes. It is also cost friendly treatment for patients, and can be repeated 3-4 times. PREREQUISITES FOR IUI 1. Ideal age less than 40 years. 2. Patient capable of spontaneous or induced ovulation. 3. At least one patent fallopian tube with good tubo-ovarian relationship. 4. A hostile cervical condition, including cervical mucus problem. 5. Unexplained infertility. 6. Ejaculatory dysfunction. 7.
